1. What we collect
The website source does not include an analytics or session-recording service. Hosting and correspondence providers may process technical or contact data as described below.
- The hosting provider may process request logs such as IP address, browser details, requested paths, and referrers for service delivery and security. The provider and deployment configuration determine which fields are logged and how long they are retained.
- If you email the editor, your email provider processes your sender address and message content so the message can be delivered and answered. Retention depends on the mailbox and correspondence practices used by the editor.
2. What we do not collect
We do not require accounts, do not run comment systems that require personal data, and do not sell or rent any data to third parties.
3. Cookies
The current site does not implement an analytics cookie, session recording, or a reader-controlled theme preference. Hosting or other providers may use technical storage needed to deliver their services. This notice will be updated if the site adds another cookie-based feature.
The current site source does not include Google AdSense. If advertising is enabled later, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These technologies are governed by Google's partner sites policy. You can opt out of Google's personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings — Personalisation Off.
4. Third-party services
- Google Fonts — the page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When the browser requests them, Google may receive standard request information such as the IP address and browser details.
- Google AdSense — advertising is not included in the current site source. If enabled, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before ads are served. 5. Your rights
If you have written to the editor and would like your correspondence deleted, or would like to know what personal data (if any) we hold about you, please email us. We will respond within thirty days.
6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of their personal information, to opt out of the sale of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 7. Data protection basis (GDPR)
The current site source does not include analytics or advertising. The legal basis for processing by hosting and email providers depends on the service and configuration used by the site operator. If non-essential analytics or advertising is added, the policy and any required consent choices will be described before that processing begins.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Data breach notification
If a personal data breach occurs, the site operator will assess applicable reporting duties and notify the relevant authorities and affected people as required by law.
10. International data transfers
