Restoration and identification

We cannot value or identify machines by email — the volume is too high and the answers need photographs and context we cannot always request. For those questions, we recommend the Typewriter Database forums and the ETCA community lists. We are happy to point you to the right thread if you write to us first.

Postal

For physical correspondence, review copies, and workshop invitations, please email us first for the current mailing address. We move workshops occasionally and the address on file is often out of date by the time a letter arrives.

Response times

One person reads everything. Replies typically arrive within a week; corrections to published articles are handled within forty-eight hours. If you have not heard back after two weeks, please write again — email is imperfect and messages do get lost.
